Bible Verses on Trusting God through good and bad times

1) Don't trust your own limited wisdom and unreliable strength. Do not be self-sufficient. Trust in the omipotent God, His character and wisdom.


Proverbs 3:5 - Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

2) Do not be scared about the possibility of bad things happening in this life


Psalms 112:7 - He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.

2) Pray about everything and let God direct your ways


Proverbs 3:6 - In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

3) Rest in God and remember that nothing can happen to you without God's knowledge and permission.


Psalms 46:10 - Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

4) God never forsakes them that seeks Him. He has a perfect track record of being faithful to His people, despite their foolish choices.


Psalms 9:10 - And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

5) Worry is often the result of lack of Trust in God. God is our provider.


Matthew 6:25 - Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

6) God helps those who trust Him. He would either make a way out for the struggle or give us strength to endure.


Psalms 28:7 - The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.

7) God is trust worthy and unchanging. So, believe in His goodness.


Hebrews 13:8 - Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
Romans 15:13 - Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
Psalms 112:7 - He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.
Mark 5:36 - As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.

8) Leave the injustice done to you and the unfair people in God's hands. Do not trouble your soul with hatred and vengeance.


Romans 12:19 - Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

9) Obedience brings blessings(now and eternal)


Deuteronomy 28:1-68 - And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:
